Sherri (Traeger) Catlin, 55, of rural Marseilles, died on Sunday morning, September 16, 2018 at her home. A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Private burial will be at Section Cemetery.

Sherri was born on July 18, 1963 in Streator, to Ralph and Marilyn (Dzama) Traeger. She was a graduate of Streator High School. Sherri married Thomas Catlin on August 14, 1982 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Streator.

She is survived by her husband, Tom, 2 children, April (Kevin Vanzuiden) Catlin, of Leonore and Chad Catlin, of Marseilles, 2 brothers David (Melanie) Treager, of Streator and Carl (Rose) Treager, of Wisconsin, and 2 sisters, Dawn Thorp, of Jacksonville, IL and Linda (Art) Dougherty, of Ottawa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
