Wright, 69, a resident of Montgomery, PA, met God on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in the ManorCare Health Services South at Williamsport. Born Sunday, February 20, 1949 in Muncy Creek Twp. , Lycoming Co., PA she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel (Stover) Bartlett.

Sherry was the wife of O. Michael Wright with whom she celebrated a 48th wedding anniversary on September 26, 2018. She was a 1967 graduate of Montgomery High School. Sherry was employed as a correction officer by SCI Muncy, retiring after 25 years employment.

Sherry was a life member of Clinton Baptist Church where she was a faithful and dedicated member of the Bible Study Group. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters and especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Tony and wife Allison Wright of Montgomery; two sisters, Judy Marshall of Watsontown and Nancy Fisher of Montgomery and two grandchildren, Gabe Wright and Issie Wright.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Wertz. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday TO BE DETERMINED 2019 at the Clinton Baptist Church, 60 Warren Avenue, Montgomery, PA with David Jacobs, her pastor officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from TO BE DETERMINED.
