Potter, 87, a resident of Muncy, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in The Gatehouse at Williamsport. Born August 15, 1931 in Springport, Cayuga Co., New York she was a daughter of the late Adelbert and Hazel (Phillips) Covert. She was the widow of George Potter who preceded her in death in 1988.

Eva had been employed as a sales associate by WalMart and had previously been employed by Montgomery Sportswear and Liberty Sportswear. She enjoyed needlepoint and cross stitching. Eva especially enjoyed family and attending family gatherings.

She is survived by six children, Donna and husband Dave Tubbs of Binghamton, NY; Larry Potter of Union Springs, NY; Byron and wife Barb Potter of Muncy, PA; Lori and husband Robert Miller of Montgomery, PA; Rebecca and husband Christopher Kroft of Montgomery, PA; Sarah and husband Sergio Pantoja of Muncy, PA, two sisters, Sylvia and husband Lyle Cobb of Union Springs, NY; Dora Guiles of North Carolina and one brother Robert Covert of Union Springs, NY. Eva is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Watts; one brother Adelbert Covert, Jr.; one sister, Carrie Vorhis and two great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Riddell and Natalie Iaia.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. from the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 N. Main Street, Muncy with Chaplain Thomas M. Brokaw of Susquehanna Health, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Interment will be in the Chestnut Hill Cemetery at Union Springs, NY. Flowers are welcome.
