Shirley Ann Redinger, 82, of Sterling, died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Wooster Community Hospital. Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Friends may call one hour prior from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Shirley was born August 17, 1936 in Apple Creek to Lawrence and Clara {Brutchy} Wade. She married Richard Redinger on August 21, 1954. Shirley enjoyed gardening and crafts, especially creating her Santa Clause’s during the holidays.

When Richard and her were able, they loved to travel with her twin brother and his wife. Shirley most loved spending time with her family. Shirley will be deeply missed by her husband of 64 years; children Ronnie Redinger of Alliance, Richard “Bud” Redinger, Vickie (Bob) Barcus, and Jeff (Jackie) Redinger all three of Wooster; grandchildren Bob (Jeanette) Barcus, Stacy (Mike) Harry, Cody Redinger, Tyler (Ciara) Redinger; great-grandchildren Ryan Redinger, Gage Barcus, Carson and Leora Redinger; sister Dianne (Warren) Barnes of Wooster.

Shirley was preceded in death by her grandson Ricky Redinger, brothers Bob, Jerry, and Buster Wade, and sister Jeanne Ott.
