Shirley’s Obituary Shirley Pait Johnson age 83, of Lumberton passed away on Sunday May 26, 2019 at her home in Lumberton, NC. A visitation will be held following the service on Friday May 31, 2019 at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory Inc. in Lumberton. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday May 31, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev.

Joe Bounds officiating. Mrs. Johnson was born on October 8, 1935 in Robeson County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for over fifty years.

She was an English Teacher with the Public Schools of Robeson County for twenty-eight years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Pait and Clara Biggs Pait; and her husband Walter “Noody” Johnson. She is survived by a son, Rick Lovette of Lumberton, NC; one daughter, Wanda Beilenson of Philadelphia, PA; two brothers, Ron Pait of Lumberton, NC and Andy Pait of Lake Tillery, NC; and six grandchildren.
