SMSGT (Ret. ) Bobby Echols Wilbanks of Florien, Louisiana October 4, 1929 – March 23, 2019 Funeral services for SMSGT (Ret. ) Bobby Echols Wilbanks, 89, of Florien, LA, will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Florien with Dennis Pitt, Rev.

Brady Glaser and Bobby Slaydon officiating. Burial will follow in the Florien Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday, March 25, 2019, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Florien.

Bobby Echols Wilbanks was born on Friday, October 4, 1929 in Trinity, AL. He passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at his residence in Florien, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Ola Mae (Heathcoat) Wilbanks; first wife, Charlene Jackson Wilbanks; one sister and five brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Wilbanks of Florien, LA; daughter, Susan Wilbanks of Alexandria, LA, son, Mark Wilbanks of Texas, daughter, Donna Wilbanks Chelette of Alexandria, LA, daughter, Kim Anthony DeLatin of Many, LA, daughter, Karen Anthony Slaydon of Florien, LA; grandchildren: Stormy Wilbanks Whitley of Dallas, TX, Brandon Anderson of Atlanta, GA, Wendy DeLatin Davis of Dallas, TX, Stacy DeLatin Kennedy of Many, LA, Logan Slaydon of Houston, TX, Jacob McComic of Many, LA and Nick Slaydon of Florien, LA; seven great grandchildren; all Jackson in-laws; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers: Mike Pitt, Jacob McComic, Logan Slaydon, Ben Kennedy, Brandon Anderson and Josh Sandel.
