Stanley’s Obituary Stanley Bernard King, 56, passed away December 26, 2018 at Research Medical Center. He was born February 28, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri, the youngest child of George W. King, Sr. and Ida Bell King. He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Lula Fox; paternal grandparents, Sylvester and Hattie King.

Stan was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School District, graduating from Paseo High School in 1980. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force, receiving an honorable discharge. Stan was an active member of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club.

He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. His outgoing personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory: his sons, Jerrell M. King and Marcus J. Robinson both of Kansas City, MO; his mother, Ida B. King; brothers, George W. King, Jr. (Erma) of Kansas City, MO and Steven J. King (Amy) of Corpus Christi, TX; aunt, Jelean Shelton; grandson, Jordan A. King; nephews, Damon L. King, Sr., Jamar King and Winston King; nieces, Desiree Clark and Rachel King; special cousin-sister, Cortney R. Allen; two great nephews, one great niece and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service Saturday, January 5, 11:00 a.m. at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.

Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
