Stephen Lynn Romans, 62, of Owensboro, died on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born September 1, 1956 in Daviess County, KY to the late Odell and Stella “Star” Colburn Romans. He was an assistant manager at ABC Rentals where he worked for the past 40 years.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Diane Sorrells Romans; stepson, Jacob Arnold; God-grandchildren, Damon Brooks and Graci Sue Brooks and their mother, Amanda Brooks, who was like a daughter; three sisters, Gloria Romans Rumage (Dennis), Sheila Romans Skillman and Bonita Romans Hanks; his best friend, Mike Brown; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to donor’s favorite charity.
