Steven D. Bierman, 61, of Urbana passed away at 7:08 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at his residence. Steven requested that there be no services so per his wishes he will be cremated and buried at a later date in Sandoval Cemetery. Steven was born in St. Louis on July 21, 1957 to parents Alden W. and Patricia L. (Rittenhouse) Bierman.

They preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister Lynn Bierman of Urbana. Steven was a graduate of Unity High School, after graduating he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.

He worked for Fed Ex in Urbana. He loved his Fed Ex job. He was an avid Fighting Illini and St. Louis Cardinal fan, he loved to go fishing but rarely had time.
