Steven Ward Hogan, 67, passed away on April 12, 2018 while under the care of Hospice Services in Greensboro, NC. Steve was born on August 7th, 1950 in Burlington, NC to the late Edna Marie Wagner Hogan and Richard Thomas Hogan. He was a graduate of Walter M. Williams High School in Burlington, class of 1968.

Following high school, Steve attended Wake Forest University where he was a part of the 1970 ACC Championship Football Team. Steve is survived by his son, Steven Hogan of Asheville and his daughter, Ashleigh McFarlin and her husband Tim, of Greensboro.

He is also survived by his sister Pat Gleeson of Mebane, and his brother Rick Hogan of Burlington, nieces and nephews, and his former wife, Cindy Heafner. The family would like to extend its gratitude to the caring staff at Alamance House. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2018 by Rev.
