Obituary for Steward Edwin Grimm Print Mr. Steward Grimm, 90, of Gray, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Brookdale of Colonial Heights following a brief illness. He was formerly employed by Tennessee Eastman Company as a foreman in Refrigeration, Power and Services Division. When he retired at age 55, he continued his love of building and managing his apartments and houses.

He enjoyed helping his family and friends with constructing their homes. As they worked on projects together, he taught them valuable building skills. Steward was born on August 23, 1928 in Scott County VA.

, and was the son of the late William C. and Margie Grimm. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Juanita Grimm, one brother, Ken Grimm and three sisters Wanda Falin, Pauline Rogan and Linda Starnes. He is survived by one son, Chuck Grimm (Diana) of Kingsport; two daughters, Reba Thompson (Mike) and Kammy Cook (Sam) both of Kingsport.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Becky Bridges, Greg Thompson, Julie Kumar, Josh Grimm, Alicia Cook, Hannah Cook and Lauren Cook; five great-grandchildren, Aiden and Campbell Bridges, Michael and Nora Thompson, and Addie Kumar. Mr. Grimm is also survived by his sister, Wilma Namendorf of Charleston, SC. and several Nieces and Nephews.
