Stewart’s Obituary Stewart Paul Edwards, 48, went beyond the sea to be with our great Lord on January 7th, 2019. He was born in Lusaka, Zambia, Africa, on February 19th 1970. He spent his childhood years there and then came to the United States where he resided in Corpus Christi, Texas for the remainder of his life.

He is preceeded in death by his dad Paul Wright Edwards and nephew Thorin Mallison. He is survived by his parents Frank and Stephne Elmore his beloved wife Lori, his two daughters Abigale “Goose” and Caitlyn “Wooty”, three sisters Lesley “Luly Bum” (Daniel) Edwards-Cavazos, Zoe Edwards, and Sharon (James) Mallison. He was a Millwright mechanic at Turbonetics Engineering and was gifted with fixing anything.

The people he touched are too many to count. We will all miss his humor, enormous heart, and passion for fishing, golf, and life. He was never afraid to do anything weather it was right or wrong, even if that meant loving the Dallas Cowboys when they lost.

Stewart was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. We have peace in our hearts knowing he is sharing sports stories with his nephew Thorin, and fishing with his dad Paul in the deep blue sea. Memorial Services will be held Monday January 14th, 2019 at 11:00am at Guardian Funeral Home and Cremation.

A celebration time will be held after service at 3616 Flour Bluff Drive.
