Josephine’s Obituary Josephine Villarreal passed November 17, 2018. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on Dec 4, 1945. Although unexpected, she passed peacefully surrounded by family whom loved her dearly.

She is proceeded in death by Roy Anthony Rodriguez, her parents Mr. Severo & Juanita Villarreal , brothers Antonio & Victor Villarreal, Sisters Aida Cordero & Margarita Poleta, and her grandbaby Andrea Nicole Yanez. Survived by her twin sister Judith “Chicky” Caputo, her other 2 sisters Rosalina Villarreal, Guadalupe Llanos, her brother Severo Villarreal Jr, her 3 daughters San Juanita (Rolando) Blanco, Judith Lynn (Kevin) Benton, Rosalina Rodriguez, her 18 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Josie was employed as a barber at Ed’s hair designers for over 20 years.

She moved from Brooklyn, New York to South Texas in her early 20’s where she married, started her family, and built many friendships. Family, friends, and generosity were a big part of her life; she took pride in being everybody’s “Wella”. She will be affectionately missed and remembered by many.

Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ The King Catholic church. Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park cemetery.
