Susie E. Rende, a longtime resident of Beacon, passed away on January 31, 2019 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. She was 92 years old. Susie was born in Hallsville, New York on July 30, 1926 the daughter of the late Willie and Sarah Sours Eutermarks.

She was married to Louis F. Rende. Mr. Rende predeceased her in 1983. Susie is survived by her children, Ramona Hubert and her husband, John, Lou Ann Smith and her husband, Mark, Michael Rende and his wife, Jill and Charlie Rende and his fiancé, Heather; her seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Susie was predeceased by her brother, Herbert Eutermarks. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, February 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 4 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joachim Church, 51 Leonard Street, Beacon.

Burial will follow at St. Joachim Cemetery, Beacon. Memorial donations in memory of Susie may be made to Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation, www. milesofhope.org.
