Obituary for Sylvia Mendelson Sylvia Mendelson was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 20, 1920. She passed away on January 4, 2019. Sylvia resided in Columbus, Ohio since 2007.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Mendelson and brothers, Ben and Mike Zamren. She is survived by her sons, Stephen “Darryl” Mendelson and Jeffrey “Ro-z” Mendelson; grandchildren, Maxine Mendelson, Hannah (Johnny) Acosta, and Nova (Mike) Gallicchio; great grandchildren, Fia and Gage Gallicchio. Graveside services will be held at 12:00pm on Sunday, January 6 at New Agudas Achim Cemetery, 2565 Performance Way.

Shiva will be observed at Stephen and Jeffrey’s home immediately following the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Zusman Hospice at Wexner Heritage Village www. whv.org Online guestbook at www.
