Tanya Renee Bridges, 65, of Easton, formerly of Neptune, NJ, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 in Easton Hospital after being stricken at home. Born January 5, 1954, in Neptune, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Richard Thomas Bridges, Sr. and the late Alma (Harris) Bridges. Tanya graduated from Neptune Senior High School Class of 1972 and attended Trenton State College where she was a Delta Sigma Theta.

She last worked for The Children’s Home of Easton for eight years. Previously, she was employed by the New Jersey Department of Youth Services and retired in 2014 from Arthur Brisbane Children’s Hospital. Tanya enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at large family gatherings.

Surviving are four brothers, Richard Bridges, Jr., of Easton, Darrell Bridges, of Ocean, NJ, Kevin Bridges, of Howell, NJ and Gary Bridges, of Tampa, FL; a sister, Jacky Bridges, of Easton; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough.
