Ted Leon Hatley, 86, of Albemarle, passed away peacefully with his family Sunday, June 10, 2018 at his home. Mr. Hatley was born November 29, 1931 to the late Frank Eli Hatley and the late Zula Bell Hatley. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Jimmy Hatley, TJ Hatley, and Joe Billy Hatley; and a sister, Virginia Taylor.

Ted was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army and was a member of the Primitive Baptist faith. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM – 9:00PM, Friday, June 15, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. A graveside service will be on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at 22182 Canton Rd.

Survivors include wife, Revonne Hatley of Albemarle; daughter, Cathy Hatley Deal and husband Mark of Albemarle; grandchildren, Anthony Tucker and wife Meredith of Abilene, TX, Matthew Deal of Albemarle, and Hayli Holmes and husband Derrick of Albemarle; great grandchildren, Keelan Anthony Tucker and Keigan Leon Tucker of Abilene, TX; step-mother, Wilma Hatley; sister-in-law, Beatrice Hatley; sisters, Gale Harris, Jean Page, Joan Lambert and husband Kevin; and brother, Donnie Hatley and wife Diane all of Albemarle. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Hatley family.
