Teresa R. Ryan, 86 of Chicopee, died April 23rd peacefully at Wingate with family and friends by her side. Teresa was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth(Griffin)Ryan. She graduated from St. Jerome High School in 1948 and was employed for over fifty years at Providence Hospital.

She loved to travel especially to Ireland to see all her beloved relatives and the beautiful country side. Her beautiful smile and unending laughter brought joy to all those she met. She was predeceased by her loving sisters Mary Tierney and Betty Neades, three brothers, Joseph, Buddy, and Danny Ryan, brother-in-law Raymond Tierney and nephew Ray Neades.

She is survived by her loving sister Anna Mae Wesloski, her favorite brother-in-law James Wesloski Sr., nieces and nephews, Beth Dowd, Mary Thompson, Mike Wesloski, Jack Wesloski, James Wesloski Jr., Jack Neades Jr., Joseph Ryan, and Janet Roman-Ryan along with many great nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Saturday, April 28th at 10:00 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke, followed by a Mass in Saint Patrick’s Church, 30 Main St. South Hadley at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Saint Jerome Cemetery in Holyoke. A calling hour will be held Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Fund at Wingate of South Hadley, 573 Granby Road, South Hadley MA 01075.
