Terrell “Terry” June Ammons May 22, 1953 – January 18, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Terrell June “Terry” Ammons, age 65, of Guston, KY, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. Terry was born May 22, 1953 in North Chicago, IL daughter of Fred and Dee Zoehler. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gordon and Dorothy Zoehler.

Terry was able to live her dream of opening her thrift store, “Granny’s Treasures” in Brandenburg. Her treasures were her four granddaughters whom she loved and adored. Terry also loved to play Bunco at Joyce’s Décor near Brandenburg.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Ammons of Guston, KY; children, Charlene “Chelly” Michele (Keith) Sego of Louisville, KY, Candace “Candy” Chambliss of Louisville, KY, Todd Jason (Angie) Chambliss of Edina, MN; parents, Fred and Dee Zoehler of Brandenburg; sister, “Jill” Marie (Chaz) Johnson of Waukegan, IL; and four granddaughters: Tyler “Ty J” Kennedy, Skyler “Squirt” Leitner, Victoria “Tinky” Chambliss, and MaKenna “Mac” Chambliss. A Remembrance Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM EST from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
