Terry Lee Casey, 70, of Owensboro passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 in the comfort of his home. He was born on January 24, 1949 in Daviess County to the late Audra and Opal Peach Casey. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Philippines as a member of the United Sates Air Force.

He was employed by the Owensboro Public School System and retired in December, 2017. He enjoyed UK basketball with a fiery passion and also enjoyed NASCAR. He loved his wife and girls whole heartedly, even though we drove him crazy.

He was kind, caring, and funny. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Linda Louise Crump Casey, on January 26, 2013; and a brother, Jack Casey, in 2001. Survivors include his daughters, Mary Leann Casey of Utica and Audra L. Casey of Owensboro; a brother, Richard Casey of Owensboro; two sisters, Sharon Cline of Rockport, IN and Jeanie Casey of Owensboro; a sister-in-law, Pat Mulligan (Patrick) of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
