Therese Herchek, age 88, passed away June 21, 2018. She was born on June 28, 1929 to the late Joseph Herman and Zita Frances (nee: Meehan) Thesing. Therese is preceded in death by her husband Stephen Henry Herchek, Jr.; siblings, Frances Sherwood, Joseph Thesing, and John Thesing.

She is survived by her children, Carleen (Greg) Stokes of Norton, OH, Christopher of Richfield, OH, Cheryl (Dean) Monson of Pensacola FL, Kimberly of Barberton, OH, and Gregg of Springfield Township, OH; grandchildren, Brian, Gregory, Sara, Hallie, Christian, Cara, Tim, Ryan, Kelly, Jacob, Stephen and Jason; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Xander, Breanna, Edward, Cecily, Ewen, Flora and Gabriel; siblings, Helen Walters of Stow, OH, Hugh Thesing of Wadsworth, OH, Zita Gavinesky of Wadsworth, OH, Lucy Sansosti of Barberton, OH, Monica (Harold) Krause of North Canton, OH, James (Mary) Thesing of Norton, OH, Mary Hardbarger of Harrisville, WV, and Bernadine (Larry) Weatherford of Lynchburgh, VA; 66 nieces and nephews, and numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends, MONDAY, June 25, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, TUESDAY at 10:00am at St. Augustine, 204 6th Street NW, Barberton.

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
