Obituary for Thomas A. Bogener Sr. Thomas A. Bogener, Sr., 65, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at home. Services will be private with cremation at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Tom was born July 7, 1952, in Monmouth, Illinois, the son of Virgil and Betty (Armstrong) Bogener.

He married Sharon Wilson on January 9, 1971, in Moline. He worked for Eagle Foods as a semi-truck driver for 30 years, retiring in 2000 with almost 2,000,000 miles under his belt without an accident. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; a daughter, Melissa (Bryan) Speth of Davenport, Iowa; a son, Thomas (Sunee Lauer) Bogener, Jr. of Moline; four grandchildren, Delaney and Tanner Speth, Sophee Lauer, and Saydee Bogener; two brothers, James (Pamela) Bogener of Folsom, California, and George (Ronadene) Bogener of Cameron, Illinois; and a sister, Janet (Neil) Bergman of Fresno, California.
