Congress St., Corry, Pa. died on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Erie V.A. Medical Center. He was born December 14, 1948, in Corry, Pa.

a son of the late Harold “Tuffy” and Charmaine Culver Morton. Tom was raised and educated in Corry, graduating from Corry Area High School in 1966. After graduation, Tom enlisted in the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War.

He was honorably discharged in 1969. When he returned to Corry, Tom worked for several companies in the local area including; AJAX Iron Works, Foamex, and MFG. Most recently, Tom was assistant manager for Sehman’s Tire Co. in Corry.

He worked there for twenty years, retiring in 1995, after being diagnosed with M.S. Tom was the Founder and President of Street Machines Unlimited in Corry. A lifetime member and former officer of the VFW Post #264 in Corry. He also belonged to the Corry Central Labor Club and was a former President and Director of Mead Park Association.

Tom loved all sorts of auto racing, especially NHRA, collecting die cast cars and building model cars. He enjoyed going to car shows and cruising and hosting the annual Street Machines Unlimited Cruise In. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a sister, Sherri Troup.

Tom is survived by his wife Annie T. Wawrejko Morton whom he married on June 16, 1973, in Spring Creek, Pa. ; two sons, Jason Morton and his wife Jennifer of Corry, Pa. and Stephen Morton also of Corry, Pa.

; a sister, Rebecca Lobdell and her husband Richard of Corry, Pa. and a brother, Doug Morton of LeRoy, NY. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Timothy, Lacey and Kyra and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends may call at the Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa. on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and attend the funeral service there on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Les Utegg officiating. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery, Spring Creek, Pa.
