Mailander, age 79, a resident of Asbury Gardens, in North Aurora, IL, died on November 22, 2018. He was born October 9, 1939 in Chicago, IL. He worked for United Airlines and at Hueblin Beverage as a V.P. in sales.

He is survived by his children Jim Mailander, Debbie Mailander Akerman, and Jennifer Mailander Calafati; and his cousin, Sandra (Bill) Lovstad of Warrenville. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Louise Mailander; and his brothers John M. and James R. Mailander. A private interment will take place at a later date.
