Carolyn’s Obituary Carolyn A. Kehring, age 77, a resident of Winfield, IL, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was born December 14, 1941 in Berwyn, IL to Walter and Agnes Kukla. In 1959, Carolyn graduated from Proviso East High School, Maywood, Illinois where she met the love of her life, Robert Kehring.

Bob and Carol were married April 20th, 1963 and spent 52 loving years together. They raised three daughters in Lombard, Illinois. She worked at the Helen Plum Library in Lombard, IL for many years, and retired in 2003 at the age of 62.

She is survived by her three daughters, Kathy (Ray) Myles of North Aurora, Patti (Joe) McCarthy of Bartlett and Melissa (Mike) Lisner of Sycamore, and ten grandchildren, Patrick, Kevin, Emily and Sarah Myles, Timothy, Shannon, and Alyssa McCarthy, and Dustin, Dylan and Haylee Lisner, and two great-grandchildren, Mason and Kaliyah. She is also survived by her brother, Richard (Arlene) Kukla of Belleville, IL, her nephews, John (Sarah) Kukla and Randy Stuth, her niece, Lisa Kukla, and her special sister-in-law, Donna (Skip) Stuth of Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert, and her parents, Walter and Agnes Kukla.

Carolyn and her husband Robert were high school sweethearts and had the rare, special gift of being each others one true love and lifelong soulmates. He was truly the love of her life. Their hearts were reunited together again on a day all about love, Valentine’s Day.

She missed him each and every day of the time they were apart. What a special reunion that must have been, their two hearts are now together again. Carolyn was truly a blessing in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be missed each and everyday in so many ways.

She is loved to the moon and back a million times over. Visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 0S233 Church St., Winfield, IL 60190, on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until the start of a memorial Mass to be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 1S510 Winfield Rd, Wheaton, IL 60190. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
