Thomas W. Heltman, 77, 1411 Fishing Creek Road, Mill Hall, Pa died Tuesday May 1, 2018 at his home. Born August 18, 1940 in Porter Twp. , Clinton Co., he was the son of the late William H. and Kathryn Wagner Heltman.

Tom was a 1958 graduate of the Bald Eagle-Nittany High School. He was a U. S. Army veteran serving in Med Co. (3416) Valley Forge General Hospital. On July 9, 1983 he married Brenda J. Shaffer who survives at home.

Tom was a Protestant by faith, a life member of American Legion Post 623, Beech Creek, PA where he was Sgt-at- Arms and a life member of Voiture 903, 40 et 8. Tom enjoyed playing poker and relaxing with his friends and family. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy!

! He has been greatly loved and will be greatly missed! !

! Tom was a trucker who had worked for Cerro for 20 years; Kuhnley Bro. and Avis America.

He is survived by: 1 Daughter: Sarah (Travis)Hall, Mill Hall, PA 2 Sons: Thomas (Imgard) Heltman, Milroy, PA and Jesse (Amy) Heltman, Beech Creek, PA 1 Brother: Robert (Alberta Grand) Heltman, Haneyville, PA 6 Grandchildren *** Preceded in death by: 1 Sister: Elizabeth Grove in 1980 1 Brother: Ronald Heltman on Feb. 3, 2000 A Memorial Gathering to honor the life of Thomas W. Heltman will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 1-3 PM in the Beech Creek Social Hall. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall, PA will be at the convenience of the family.
