Tommy’s Obituary Tommy Shoe, 68 of Wilmington, NC died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Tommy was born September 10, 1950 in Burnie, Tasmania, Australia, the son of the late Horace and Dora Shoe. He was proud of being a veteran and serving his country in the US Army.

He was a former employee of Clark Equipment Company and retired with General Electric in Wilmington, NC. He was preceded in death by a brother, Garry Lucas of Australia. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sue Shoe of Wilmington, NC; his son Corey Shoe and wife Jennie of Wilmington, NC; and his beloved grandson, Austin Shoe of Wilmington, NC.

He is also survived by brothers Lee Shoe of Dunkirk, MD and Dean Shoe of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; sisters Vicki Hill and husband Don of Pine Bluff and Jeannie Robson and husband Dean of Pinehurst, NC. And his best friend and canine companion, Hank. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 PM at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev.

Mitchell Roller officiating. Interment will follow service at Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday prior to service from 12:45 PM until 1:45 PM at Carter Funeral Home of Rockingham.
