Tracy Ray Wardell, 58, of Avoca passed away on July 5, 2018. Tracy was born November 3, 1959 in Madison, WI and was the third child to Kenneth Leroy Wardell and Mary Jean Franklin Wardell. Tracy graduated from Monona Grove High School in Monona, WI in 1977.

After high school Tracy worked in Landscaping. He then became a carpenter and worked in the Madison area for many years and then moved to Avoca. Tracy was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be missed by all. Tracy is survived by his sister Tammy (Mike) Zindrick of Black River Falls, WI, a brother Terry (Melita) Wardell of Snellville, GA, four nephews Matt Wardell, Kyle Plath, Zach Wardell and Daniel Wardell and a niece Ashley Gardham.

He is also survived by many Aunt’s and Uncle’s and Cousin’s. Tracy is preceded in death by his parents Mary Jean Wardell and Kenneth L. Wardell. *God saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so he closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be thine”.

A Celebration of Life will be on Sept. 15th at Joni’s Food and Spirits, Avoca, WI. The family would like to thank Dr. Aaron Dunn and his staff of Upland Hills Health for their compassionate care of Tracy.
