Mr. Ulf Ekberg, loving husband, father and friend, passed away at his home while under the care of CarePartners Hospice & Palliative Care-McDowell in the early morning hours of Monday, November 12, 2018. A celebration of Ulf’s life will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service & Crematory in Marion. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Masonic rites will be provided by Mystic Tie Lodge #237 A.F. & A.M. of Marion. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in Mr. Ekberg’s memory are asked to consider, Mt. Mitchell Shriner’s Club.
