In Loving Memory Valentine “Val” T. Schaff March 4, 1929 – January 8, 2019 Our loving father Valentine T. Schaff, 89, passed January 8, 2019 at home. Viewing will be Monday, January 14, 2019 from 8:30am to 10:30am with a Rosary and Funeral beginning at 11:00am, all at Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt, 1551 The Dalles Military Road, Walla Walla, WA. There will be a concluding Graveside service immediately following at Mountain View Cemetery.

Val was born March 4, 1929 in Billings,… Read More » Montana to Ralph and Elizabeth Schaff. He met Mary H. Keefer and they married May 1953. They lived and built a house on the family ranch in Big Coulee.

In 1964 they moved to Washington where Val worked for Carnation Milk Farms and then later moved to Walla Walla, WA. After the passing of his wife Mary in 1998 he met Mary E Brennan and later married her in March of 1999. Val enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, his wood working shop projects, visiting with family and friends.

He was a kind, loving, dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by many. Val is survived by his sisters; Tekla Walleck, Pat Sherburn, Margaret Whimpenny, a brother; Gene Schaff, daughters; Vickie L. (Rick) Ramsey, Valorie A. (Jeff) Gerard, Cindy (Kevin) Blair, son; Mark A. (Sandy) Schaff, grandkids; Jeff (Cindy) Ramsey, Stacey (Daryl) Ables, Travis (Lora) Ramsey, Christy (Mike) Smith, Keith (Shannon) Schaff, Jeremy (Kelsey) Hart, Julie (David) Winkler, Katie Schaff, great-grandkids; Whitney and Brad Ramsey, Brooklyn and Ameyla Clemons, Coltyn, Shelton, Tria Ramsey, Gavin Ables, Reese, Lana, Lexie Schaff, Connor, Colton Winkler, Kia and Kaeyden Hart LaLonde, Owen Hart, and family friend Blain King.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Marie Zinnie, son, Kevin R. Schaff, his first wife Mary H. Schaff, and his second wife Mary E. Schaff. Friends and family may share memories and sign his online guestbook at www.
