Verne L. Cronk, Jr., age 63, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Center for Hospice Care in South Bend, IN. He was born on October 19, 1955 in South Bend to Verne L. and Joanne (Cadwell) Cronk, Sr. Verne is survived by his father, Verne L. Cronk of Mesa, AZ; his mother, Joanne (Donald) Conklin of South Bend; his daughter, Cynthia (Larry Spikes) Cronk of Las Vegas, NV; son, Jeremie (Lacy) Cronk of South Bend; former wife, Rebecca Cronk of South Bend; four grandchildren, Tifani, Kelsey, Cody, and Riley; two great-grandchildren, Kayden and Klohee and 8 step-grandchildren. Verne was preceded in death by his daughter, Colleen Cronk.

A lifelong resident of South Bend, Verne was employed at Horizon Transport as a transporter. A memorial service for Verne will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home before the service.
