Vickie L. McElhaney, 59, of East Liverpool, passed away, following a brief battle with cancer on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the home of her daughter in Salem. Born, May 25, 1959, in East Liverpool, she is a daughter of the late Warren Smith and Edna Spencer Athey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill McElhaney.

Vickie is a graduate of East Liverpool High School, and she worked for several years at Homer Laughlin China Company. She is survived by her son, Brandon McElhaney and his wife Svenja, he is currently serving in the United States Air Force and is stationed in Guam. She will also be missed by her daughter Jamie Hile of Salem and by her three grandchildren, Makala, Devon & Connor.

No services are planned at this time and she is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
