Obituary for Vicky Lee Neece DANTE, VIRGINIA – Vicky Lee Neece, 56, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at her home. She was born in Trammel, Virginia; daughter of the late Charlie M. Neece, Sr She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Mansel and Virginia Couch Phillips; and paternal grandparents, John and Luemma Neece.
She graduated from Ervinton High School. She worked on the ambulance service and she loved to help other people. She loved watching the Washington Red Skins football games with her nephews, spending time telling stories to her great nieces of her time growing up as a child, watching the Golden Girls and Law and Order on T.V., and working word search puzzles with her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her mother, Vera Grey Phillips Neece of Dante, Virginia; two sisters, Linda Neece Vance Salyer and husband, Gregory of Dante, Virginia and Veronica Neece of Castlewood, Virginia; one brother, Charlie Neece, Jr. of Castlewood, Virginia; six nieces, Tara Vance, Kim Neece, Charlee Long, Kira Vance, Mikenna Neece, and Makan Neece; ten nephews, Ron Vance, Jonathan Neece, Chad Vance, Brandon Neece, Wade Neece, Dylan Salyer, Tanner Waugh, Jonathan Neece, Jr., Dalton Neece, and Rylie Neece; four great aunts, Katherine Couch Proffitt, Delores Couch Coleman, Patricia Couch Ketran, and Regina Couch Harrison; two special cousins, Virginia Couch Baker and Janice Couch Dillon; and a host of family and friends. Funeral Services for Vicky Lee Neece will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Pastor Tim Neece officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 in Foy Neece Cemetery, Bear Ridge, Dickenson County, Virginia.
Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:15 a.m. Friday. Pallbearers will be Ron Vance, Chad Vance, Dylan Salyer, Wade Neece, Jonathan Neece, and Brandon Neece. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tanner Waugh, Jonathan Neece, Jr., Dalton Neece, and Rylie Neece.
