Obituary for Grace Marie Kiser Parrott Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also and he praiseth her. CLEVELAND, VIRGINIA – Grace Marie Kiser Parrott, 95, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 in the arms of her children. She was born in Hazel, Virginia; daughter of the late Loy and Iris Amburgey Kiser.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Banner Parrott; one grandson, Ronnie Max Gordon, Jr.; and one son-in-law, Ronnie Gordon. She was the last surviving member of her family. Her family will miss her greatly, but we will “Keep looking up” and will hold her memory close to our hearts until we meet again.
She is survived by her loving family Helen Parrott Gordon, Sharon Parrott Artrip and husband, Doug, Tommy “Butch” Parrott, Sr. and wife, Polly; five grandchildren, Mellason Clark, Tommy “Butch” Parrott, Jr., Joie Parrott, Penny Johnson, and Paul Artrip, Jr.; eight great grandchildren, McKenna Dye, Monica Parrott, Maddie Gordon, Raleigh Clark, Hunter Johnson, Kourtney Johnson, Russell Parrott, and Carrie Kiersnowski; two great-great grandchildren, Erin Kiersnowski and Landon Kiersnowski; three sister-in-laws, Helen Parrott, Virginia Kiser, and Shirley Purcell; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Grace Marie Kiser Parrott will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Roger Phillips and Rev.
Jim Pratt officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Tommy Parrott, Jr., Hunter Johnson, Chris Dye, Paul Artrip, Russell Parrott, Matt Kiersnowski, Scott Parrott, and Brian Clark.
