Obituary for Gregory Wayne Gerike CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Gregory Wayne Gerike, 59, died Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Russell County Medical Center, Lebanon, Virginia. He was born in Norwood, Ohio; son of the late Dallas Wayne and Patricia Ann Brown Gerike. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and Pop Pop.

He loved to ride his motorcycle, loved to work with wood, was a good mechanic, and he loved his cats. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Gerike; three sons, Ian Gerike of Bethel, Ohio, Anthony Gerike of Goshen, Ohio; and an older son that was adopted out, John; one daughter, Elizabeth Gerike of Columbus, Georgia; two step daughters, Shenia Sifford of Castlewood, Virginia and Ashley Fritz of Easley, South Carolina; two step sons, Bruce Fritz of Easley, South Carolina and Denver Fritz of Easley, South Carolina; one brother, Robert Gerike of Franklin, Ohio; step mother, Bert Gerike of Milford, Ohio; one granddaughter, Lily Anderson of Easley, South Carolina; one grandson, Raiden Kole of Easley, South Carolina; and four best friends, Gerald Kiser, Kippy Parsons, Brandy Reynolds, and Jason Reynolds. A Gathering of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
