Obituary for Joey Glen Hammons CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Joey Glen Hammons, 50, died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tennessee. He was born in Wise, Virginia; son of the late Elmer Hammons. He is survived by his mother, Thelma Hammons; five sisters, Kathy Heranney and husband, Joe of Lebanon, Virginia, Diane Mullins and husband, William of Abingdon, Virginia, Rhonda Mooney of Castlewood, Virginia, Lisa Collins of Castlewood, Virginia,and Chasity Phillips and husband, Delmar “Booner” of Castlewood, Virginia; two brothers, Wayne Hammons and wife, Tabitha of Haysi, Virginia and Randy Hammons of Lebanon, Virginia; two half brothers, Roger Dotson and wife, Connie of Castlewood, Virginia and Bobby Dotson and wife, Nancy of Clinchco, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Joey Glen Hammons will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. D. J. Couch and Rev. Lawrence Hollyfield officiating.

Committal Services and Entombment will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Chapel of Love Mausoleum, Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
