Obituary for Lucille Beavers CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Lucille Harvey Beavers, 87, died Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at her home. She was born in Coeburn, Virginia; daughter of the late Emmitt and Vesta Musick Harvey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston A. Beavers; three sons, Eddie Beaver, Curtis Beavers, and Richard Beavers; one grandson, Joseph Beavers; one granddaughter, Jennifer Marie Beavers; three brothers, Bill Harvey, Leon Harvey, and Orban Harvey; and one sister, Elsie Cook.
She is survived by one daughter, Cora Lee Johnson and husband, Harold of Lebanon, Virginia; two sons, Carl Beavers and wife, Janet of Castlewood, Virginia and Preston “P.D.” Beavers, Jr. and special friend, Debbie Jacobs of Castlewood, Virginia; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Beaver of Castlewood, Virginia; two brothers, Tommy Harvey of Ohio and Danny Harvey of Ohio; four sisters, Anna Lou Smith of Coeburn, Virginia, Lilly Jacobs of Coeburn, Virginia, Dora Mae Brummitt of Coeburn, Virginia, and Retha Younce of Ohio; special caregiver, Devon Lee; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Lucille Harvey Beavers will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Pastor Mike Davis officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, in Beavers Family Cemetery, Castlewood, Virginia.
Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Pallbearers will be Devon Lee, Daniel Beavers, Vegas Ferguson, Anthony Beavers, Corey Beavers, Lonnie Beaver, and Jamie Beaver. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
