Obituary for William “Bill” Edward Litton DANTE, VIRGINIA – William ” Bill” Edward Litton, 87, died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Virginia. He was born in Clinchco, Virginia; son of the late Howard and Martha Smith Litton. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian Litton; one brother, Fred Litton; two sisters, Shirley Kiser and Edith Turner.

He was retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of service, he served in the Korean War and a retired coal miner. He is survived by his wife, Ann Dishman Litton; four daughters, Teresa Fredrick and husband, Randy of Florida, Donna Mullins and husband, Jimmy of Clintwood, Virginia, Susan Litton of South Carolina, and Pam Sullivan and husband, Steve of Dante, Virginia; three sons, Mike Litton and wife, Jenny of Christiansburg, Virginia, Jeff Litton and wife, Lois of Saltville, Virginia, and Michael Litton of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two step daughters, Jackie Meade and husband, Teddy of Castlewood, Virginia, Anita Arnoldt and husband, Jamie of Maryland; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephew. Funeral Services for William “Bill” Edward Litton will be conducted at 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2018 in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev.

Eddie Turner officiating. Committal Services and Entombment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in Chapel of Love Mausoleum in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia with full Military Rites by 1032 Second Unit Gate City, Virginia. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be 1032 Second Unit Gate City, Virginia . Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Sullivan, Mike Litton, Jeff Litton and Randy Fredrick. The family would like to give special thanks to Home Health nurses, Tammy Artrip and Albert McPeek, Maple Grove of Lebanon, Virginia and 3rd floor nurses in progressive care at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Virginia.
