Obituary for Doyal Phillips DANTE, VIRGINIA – Doyal Phillips, 78, died Thursday, October 25, 2018 at his home. He was born in Grundy, Virginia; son of the late Marvin Clyde and Mossie Phillips Ray. He is survived by his wife, Lois Ann Phillips; two sons, Tim Counts of Castlewood, Virginia and Jeff Counts of Castlewood, Virginia; two sisters, Sherry York of St. Paul, Virginia and Becky Phillips of Dante, Virginia; three grandchildren, Nicole White, Johnathan Counts, and David Counts, two great grandchildren, Ezekiel Counts and Nevaeh Duty; several nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of Remembrance Service for Doyal Phillips will be conducted at a later date. On line condolences may be sent to the Phillips family through our website at www. castlewoodfuneralhome.com.
