Obituary for Randy Nick Riner CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Randy Nick Riner, 66, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, Tennessee. He was born in Nora, Virginia; son of the late Forrest, Jr. and Edra Ramsey Riner. He was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Riner Long; four brothers, Dwaine Riner, Dudley Riner, James Riner, and Louie Riner.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving in Vietnam. He was a retired miner of forty-three years and a member of Riverside Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Riner; two sons, Terry Allen Riner of Castlewood, Virginia and James Madison Riner of Castlewood, Virginia; three sisters, Sue Riner Biggs and husband, Bill of Front Royal, Virginia, Lily Riner Turner and husband, Randy of Abingdon, Virginia, and Rebecca Riner White and husband, Sam of Bristol, Virginia; two brothers, Dean Riner of Abingdon, Virginia and Eddie Riner and fiancée, Melissa Miles of Salem, Virginia; five grandchildren, Johnny Lane Riner, Ella Ann Riner, Caleb Allen Riner, Annabelle Grace Riner, and Abbagail LeAnn Riner; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Randy Nick Riner will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Elmo Warner officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.

Military Rites will be conducted by the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Disabled American Veterans. Pallbearers will be Tim Austin, Gary Woodruff, Dylan Hensley, Brandon Turner, Kodie Riner, Johnny Riner, and Eddie Riner. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
