Obituary for Emma Lou Mullins CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Emma Lou Mullins, 73, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at her home. She was born in Toms Creek, Wise County, Virginia; daughter of the late Gaines and Lillie Jessee Helbert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Mullins, Sr.; and four sisters and five brothers.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan Vance and husband, Chip, Mona Hylton and husband, Kevin “B”, Kim Gilbert and husband, Terry; two sons, Raymond “Johnnie” Mullins, Jr. and wife, Pam and Robert “Red” Mullins; two sisters, Bernice Hurd and Frances Salyer Halloway; one brother, Marvin Helbert and wife, Elaine; one special sister-in-law, Evelyn Helbert; eleven grandchildren, Stephanie Gibson and husband, John, Raymond Mullins, III and wife, Candace, Clayton Mullins and wife, Kayla, Haley Gilbert Bowman and husband, Isaac, Abbie Mullins Tester and husband, Pete, Trevor Gilbert, Mandi Hylton, Brue Mullins, Brady Gilbert, Seth Hylton, and Jacob Vance; three great granddaughters, Ava Mullins, Samantha Gibson, and Rylee Tester; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Emma Lou Mullins will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Shawn Dupuie and Rev.

Doug Trent officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 in Mullins Family Cemetery, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:00 a.m. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. September 6, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia. On line condolences may be sent to the Mullins family through our website at www.
