Obituary for Billy Ray Hawkins BILLY RAY HAWKINS CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Billy Ray Hawkins, 66, died peacefully Thursday, September 13, 2018 at his home. He was born in Lebanon, Virginia; son of the late Vencil Hawkins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Belva Irene Tuggle Hawkins.

He graduated from Castlewood High School and was a farmer. He is survived by his mother, Mary Hawkins of Castlewood, Virginia; one brother, Bobby Hawkins of Castlewood, Virginia; one daughter, Donna Jordon and husband, Steve of Lebanon, Virginia; two sons, Adam Sykes and wife, Ashley of Nickelsville, Virginia and Buddy Sykes and wife, Melissa of Lebanon, Virginia; one half sister, Jean Peters and husband, Jerry of Surgoinsville, Tennessee; a very special friend, Jackie Jackson of Castlewood, Virginia; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Billy Ray Hawkins will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev.

Arville Dingus and Rev. Bryan Moore officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Sabra Chapel Cemetery, Scott County, Virginia.

Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 1:15 p.m. Sunday. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Dean, Johnny Mullins, Ron Sluss, Landon Odle, Brandon Odle and John Smith.
