Obituary for Joe Combs CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Joe Combs, 69, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tennessee. He was born in Richlands, Virginia; son of the late Charlie and Lillie Crabtree Combs. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Larry Dean Combs, Gary Daniel Combs, James Lester Combs, Harley Combs and Carter Combs.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lynn Jones of Corn Valley, Virginia and Crystal Bush of Rosedale, Virginia; five sons, Billy Jones of Castlewood, Virginia, Trent Jones of Gravel Lick, Virginia, Chad Jones of Castlewood, Virginia, David Jones of Dante, Virginia and Anthony Jones of St. Paul, Virginia; one sister, Billie Dove Barton of Cleveland, Virginia; two brothers, Jerry Wayne Combs of Castlewood, Virginia and Robert A. Combs of Cleveland, Virginia; very special friend, Nona Jones of Castlewood, Virginia; seventeen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Joe Combs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Jessie Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Skyler Bush, Johnny Head, Wade Crabtree, Benny McReynolds, Tommy Threatt and Ryan Crabtree. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
