Obituary for Audrey Foster ST. PAUL, VIRGINIA – Audrey Foster, 76, died Saturday, July 21, 2018 at her home. She was born in Scott County, Virginia; daughter of the late Rev.

Tyler B. and Anna Ward Tate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Roosevelt Foster; two sisters, Edith Mullins and Beatrice Barker; four brothers, Nelson Tate, Chester Tate, Troy Tate, and Rufus Tate. She is survived by one son, Chuck Foster and wife, Sherri of St. Paul, Virginia; one daughter, Melissa Slemp and husband, Chad of Castlewood, Virginia; two sisters, Norma Hicks of St. Paul, Virginia and Janice Jessee of Hansonville, Virginia; one brother, Vernon Tate of Florida; two grandchildren, Dylan Slemp and Cameron Slemp; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Audrey Foster will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. D. J. Couch officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018 in St. Paul Freewill Baptist Church, St. Paul, Virginia.

Interment will follow in Foster Family Cemetery, St. Paul, Virginia. Family and Friends will meet at the church. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m . to 7:00 p.m. July 22, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia. The family would like to give special thanks to caregiver, Chrissie Hall and hospice nurse, Stephanie Carter.
