Obituary for Lorene V. Holbrook COEBURN, VIRGINIA – Lorene V. Holbrook, 89, died Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee. She was born in Coeburn, Virginia; daughter of the late Walter and Vergie Hash Hughes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walker John Holbrook; and one son, Randy Alan Holbrook.

She attended St. Paul Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Connie Holbrook Painter and husband, Rolen of Swoope, Virginia and Sandra Holbrook of Coeburn, Virginia; one son, Danny Holbrook and wife, Debbie of St. Paul, Virginia; five grandchildren, John, Billy, Kara, Amy, and Rolen L.; seven great grandchildren, Montana, Alexis, Ashley, Sara, Michelle, Rolen S., and Elizabeth; one great great grandson, Roman; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Lorene V. Holbrook will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev.

Lealand Salyers officiating. Interment will follow in Stallard Cemetery, Dry Fork, Coeburn, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Daris McConnell, Tolby Mullins, Michael McConnell, James Winebarger, Michael Wright, and Logan Wright.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Holbrook, Rolen H. Painter, Rolen L. Painter, and Billy Painter The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
