Obituary for Johnsie E. Steffey KINGSPORT, TENNESSEE – Johnsie E. Steffey, 88, died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tennessee. She was born in Tarpon, Virginia; daughter of the late Wiley Ranson and Rena “Virgie” Potter Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Steffey; two brothers, Donald Turner and Ronald Turner; and one sister, Mary Steffey.

She is survived by her one daughter, Brenda Silcox and husband, Robert , Sr. of Hackberry, Louisiana; two sons, J.C. Steffey and wife, Janet of Honaker, Virginia and Charles “Toodie” Steffey of Dante, Virginia; and one brother, Arthur “Ike” Turner of Castlewood, Virginia; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great granchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Johnsie E. Steffey will be conducted at 7:00 p.m, Monday, June 18, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Ted Phillips officiating.

Committal Services and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Grandsons. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia .
