Violet “Skip” L. Buckley, age 90, of Janesville, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center. She was born in Griffith, Indiana on November 18, 1927, the daughter of Delbert and Mary (Bough) Trueblood. Violet and Norman L. Buckley were married on September 4, 1948, in Lowell, IN and he preceded her in death on March 10, 2016.

They were members of Cargill United Methodist Church. Skip adored her family and they adored her. Violet is survived by her daughter, Debra Buckley Fugate of Milwaukie, OR; son, David (Janet) Buckley of Janesville; deceased son, Daniel (Judy Wellenkotter) Buckley; grandchildren: Jason (Abby) Buckley, Joshua (Tawnya) Buckley, Sean (Kate Clark) Fugate, and BreAnn (Jon) Faville; and many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son. Memorial Services were held at Cargill United Methodist Church. SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY is assisting the family.
