Obituary for Virginia M. Bourcier Our wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother’s long life that was filled with love, kindness and grace has ended at the age of 100 years. Virginia was born April 22, 1918, in Indiana coming to Michigan with her family as a young girl. She was a honor graduate of Arthur Hill High School and had a long, successful career working for Lawyers Title Company.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters, Connie Jo and Gerald Manning, Saginaw; Michele and Randy Young, Saginaw; her adorable grandchildren, Gregory and Lorie Manning, Muskegon; Melissa and Mark Wells, Hartwell, Georgia; Peter Young, Beverly Hills, California; Erin and Steven Russell, Laingsburg; also blessed with six great-grandchildren, Kaitlin and Joseph Manning, Zachary and Ethan Wells, Nolen and Tucker Russell; her sister-in-law, Joanne Lowe and numerous nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, Joseph C. Bourcier, her son, Joseph M. Bourcier and two sisters, Dorothy Lee and Louise Schroeder.

The family wishes to thank Edgewood Assisted living for the excellent and compassionate care, especially Deb, Barb and Ana. Also a special thanks to the wonderful people from VNA Hospice for all that they do. “Oh Earth, receive an honored guest, Virginia Bourcier is laid to rest”.

A private burial took place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A Celebration of Mrs. Bourcier’s Life will take place 11:00 Thursday June 28, 2018 at the The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.

(between Shattuck and McCarty). Dr. Robert Emrich will officiate. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
