Obituary for Wanetta M Eikleberry (Hall) Wanetta M. Eikleberry, 81, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 21, 2018 at Brethren Care village following a short illness. She was born April 6, 1937 in Richie County, West Virginia the daughter of Elmer and Grace (Duff) Hall. She moved to Ashland From Bellaire, Ohio in 1961.

Wanetta had worked in the food service division at Ashland University for 23 years before retiring. She was a member of the Ashland Senior Citizens, Ashland County Council on Aging, a lifetime member of the Ashland Am Vets Auxiliary #96 and the American Legion Auxiliary # 88. She enjoyed traveling, Gambling, Bingo, dancing, spending time with her family and just being sassy.

On April 8, 1955 she was married to Archie R. Eikleberry who preceded her in death on January 3, 2003. She is survived by two daughters, Regina (Thomas) Stephens of Columbus and Susan (Larry) Schaub of Polk; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Lynn Cunningham of Ashland and one brother, Robert Hall of Shelby. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Archie, two sons, David and Mark Eikleberry, two sisters, Opal and Shirley; and two brothers, Gail and Denzil Lamp.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Council on Aging, 240 E. Third St. Ashland, Ohio 44805 or to Pathways Hospice, 1171 E. Main St. Ashland, Ohio 44805.
