Warren Shubert Cockfield, 68, husband of Lynn Cockfield, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Cockfield Cemetery, Scranton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, June 29, 2018 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Shubert was born on November 30, 1949 in Florence County, son of the late Warren Clinton Cockfield and Bobbie Matthews Cockfield. He was a graduate of Lake City High School and a member of Cameron United Methodist Church. Shubert worked in the agriculture industry for many years and later retired from Lake City Public Housing Authority.

He was a longtime member of Community Hunting Club and loved hunting, fishing and yard work. He was a loving family man, affectionately known as Grumps by his three granddaughters. Surviving are his wife, Lynn Carter Cockfield of Scranton; daughters, Brandi (Jason) Altman of Lake City and Kara (John) Caskey of West Columbia; his three granddaughters, Carter Blue Altman, Caroline Elizabeth Caskey and Rachel Madelyn Caskey; and brother, James L. “Bo” (Tammy) Cockfield of Scranton.

He was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Warren Briley Altman. Memorials may be made to Cameron United Methodist Church, c/o Grainger Davis, 1531 N.
